A very nice Allgemeine SS Officer's visor cap.  Heavy wool twill body with white piping, velvet cap band, leather sweatband.  Eagle and skull are the later war sandwiched aluminum with heavy silver plating.  (See photo).  Copper gold lining cloth with gold SS runes within a circle under the sweat panel.  Brim stamped "SS RZM".  No cloth SS label under sweatband, but there are traces of adhesive where a label once was.  Hat is strong and firm with no loose brim stitching or anything that detracts from it.  A beautiful hat and very rare. A fine addition to any quality collection.
