This is a fine condition rifle featuring a 26” octagon barrel retaining over 95% original blue with some very light wear to the high edges. The bore is in mint condition and the gun features a full magazine tube. The front sight is the blade type and has a slight red paint mark on the sight. The rear sight is near mint and factory correct. The forearm cap shows some very light high edge wear and retains over 90% original blue. The forearm shows some very light handling marks with a light mark on the underside. The receiver retains over 85% original case hardening with only the very slightest evidence of screw turning. The take down function works perfectly and the action is nice and tight. The stock features a crescent butt plate which is mostly silver in color but does have a hint of color remaining. The stock shows only the very slightest handling marks and overall this is a fantastic condition Marlin that will display well in any collection. Sn# 263914 FFL REQUIRED.
