WWI US M1917 Cartridge Belt With Canteen, Cup, And Web Canteen Cover.
The M1917 cartridge belt is the 9 pocket model, and this one is maker marked MILLS Jan. 1918 on the inside flap of the far left pocket. The center web belt which connects the 2 pocketed sides is faintly marked with the MILLS emblem and a date, and the metal plates on both ends of this center belt are marked with the MILLS logo and Patented Ja. 29, '01, July 16, '07, & May 18, '15. The web color is khaki and has a good amount of soiling, but all the webbing and fittings are fine.
The canteen cover is khaki and is faintly marked US on the front, and has no holes or tears, and is fairly sound all around. The canteen is unmarked, except for G 7093 stamped into the top of the cap. The initals RJR are deeply scratched into the top of the cap. Canteen has a few dents and shows its age, but is decent otherwise. No cork inside the cap. The aluminum cup is marked U.S. L.F.&C. 1918, and has a few dings and small dents here and there.
