Hi-Standard R-100 Sentinel 22 Caliber 9-Shot Revolver, 5" Barrel, Used, With Bucheimer Holster. Serial number 27270. FFL Required. Made between January 1955 and June 1956.
5" round barrel. Blued finish. Fixed sights. Double action. Left side of barrel is marked Hi-Standard .22 Cal., and the right side of the barrel is marked High Standard Mfg. Corp., Hamden, Conn., U.S.A. Right side of the frame is marked R-100 and has the serial number 27270 below that. Bore is excellent, bright and shiny and the rifling strong. Has a silver toned Hi-Standard Sentinel medallion inset into the left side of the frame. Brown plastic checkered grip. The bluing is somewhat worn and dull with the sides of the barrels having the most loss from holster wear. Has some light old surface rust around the muzzle with some on the sides of the barrel near the muzzle. Has a few light scratches and light dings overall. The plastic grip has a few light scratches and dings, and also has a chip out of the extreme back at the bottom which measures about 1/2" X 5/8".
There is a NC Driver License number etched with an engraving pen on the front gripstrap and again on the right frame just under the cylinder.
The black leather Bucheimer Perfect Fit B14 Holster will fit a 6" barrel revolver, and has some light scratches and dings.
