Post WWII SS Officer Engraved Sword Blade Only, RZM & SS Marked, Engraved, No Grip, Fantasy Piece. 29-1/2" blade, 35" overall length to the end of the tang. Blade is acid etched both sides with oak leaves and acorns, with "Meine Ehre Ist Treue" on the right side, and "H. Himmler, Reichsfuhrer - SS" on the left side. The left ricasso is marked RZM 1053/39 and has the SS runes within a double circle. The tang is slightly bent and can easily be straightened. This is blade that was made from readily obtainable leftover stock original blades, for the police, that were unmarked and easily converted into an SS blade. Engraving done post war. Nickel plated blade is in fine shape and condition. Condition Very Good Plus.
