This piece was reportedly brought back from Africa in the 1940’s and was chambered for .303 British. A .303 British cartridge fits the gun but is slightly loose. We have tried different variations of English cartridges and .303 is the only one that will fit the gun. The piece has a matted barrel and shows good rifling with some pitting. The gun shows overall as a 50% condition gun overall and is in working order. The gun has no serial number but is marked “London”. We are calling this an FFL gun produced after 1898.
