Buck Knives Display Case, Wood & Glass, Ca. Late 1960's Early 1970's. Case dimensions are 18"wide x 13" deep x 2.75" tall at the front x 6.5" tall at the rear. Slanted top is glass. Hinged access panel at the rear, with lock hasp, which opens so velvet lined tray can be pulled out. Tray is 12"x17" and is constructed of burgundy cloth covered dovetailed wood sides with a pressboard bottom. Tray is lined with burgundy colored velvet, which has come loose partially around the sides. Partial sticker on back of access panel stating that "...defective knives must be returned to the factory for disposition and possible repair or replacement under warranty, and that dealer should not assume responsibility for replacement." Wood case is dovetailed and the wood appears to be poplar, with the finish worn thin. Top back of case has a Buck Knives plate affixed, which is 6"x1.25". Overall condition is Good Plus.
