FFL Required.</p> <p>In new unfired condition 42 years after its introduction in 1969, a Winchester Model 94 Golden Spike Centennial Commemorative carbine. 20" round blued barrel with hooded front sight and adjustable ramp rear sight. Left side of barrel is marked Winchester Model 94 30-30 Win. Made In New Haven, Conn, USA Winchester Proof Steel. Right side of barrel is marked Golden Spike Commemorative, with the bottoms of the letters being gold colored. Barrel, receiver bolt, hammer, trigger, lever, and saddle ring are all blued. Receiver, barrel bands and buttplate are gold plated. Left side of receiver is engraved with the image of a golden railroad spike with 1869 & 1969 on either side. Right side of receiver is engraved with simple open scrollwork around the perimeter. The top strap of the receiver just behind the hammer is engraved with Oceans United By Rail. No rust, nicks, scratches, or dings on any metal parts. American walnut butt stock and forearm, with absolutely no nicks, scratches, nicks or dings anywhere. Right side of butt stock is inlaid with a disk commemorating the Pacific Railway being completed on May 10, 1869, when the Central Pacific and Union Pacific Railroads met at Promontory Summit, Utah, linking the nation.</p> <p>Included is the original factory box which is in perfect and excellent condition; and the original colorful outer sleeve with its wonderful graphics which does have some shelf wear and light soiling with some tape repair to one end. All original paperwork is included, which includes: warranty and warranty card; certificate; brochures; and hunting and shooting sportsmanship brochure. The original small brochure with specifications is still attached by a thin cord to the lever.</p> <p>This is an absolutely remarkable carbine with no issues whatsoever. The gold plating has darkened a bit over time but it just adds to the overall pleasing appearance of the carbine itself. This would be a fine addtion to any collection.</p> <p>Condition Excellent.
