Harrington & Richardson Victor .22 Caliber Rimfire Pocket Pistol, 7 Shot, SN 108027. FFL Required. 2" barrel, 5 1/4" overall length. Blued, with hard rubber grips. About 80-85% of the bluing remains, with some spotty discoloration and surface rust. There are some scratches along the sides of the barrel and on the front sight. The barrel can be unscrewed from the frame and it has been overtightened at some point, as when it is fully screwed into the frame the front sight is about 1/4" out of line with the rear sight. The trigger and hammer mechanism is strong and seems to function well, but the cylinder stop needs some work as the cylinder will spin freely and does not index properly. The hard rubber grips are just about perfect with only some very light flaking around the gripscrew holes. This pistol was manufactured for use with low pressure black powder rimfire cartridges and is not safe to fire with modern high pressure cartridges. The top of the frame is stamped VICTOR 22 CAL. R.F. The bottom of the gripstrap is stamped H. & R. Arms Co. Worchester, Mass., U.S.A. The serial number, 108027. is stamped on the bottom of the front gripstrap. The cylinder pin is knurled, and not ribbed. Nice collector's item. Condition Good Minus.
